The Moving Target-small version

This piece is a smaller, limited edition version of my Moving Target piece. At 11″h x 14″w, it’s easy to fit on most any wall. It’s about the fear of getting hurt in love. This woman on the knife thrower’s wheel has a target over her heart, which she’s trying to protect by constantly spinning. This piece does actually spin slowly with the help of a 6V motor that plugs into a regular wall outlet. There is an on/off switch in the cord. The frame and backing are painted wood. The knives are made of painted and aged metal. The woman is made from clay and her skirt is antique trim fabric. The wheel she spins on is made of painted wood.
