This three dimensional wall hanging is constructed on a found barn wood frame. The background is made from custom printed fabric of my own drawings that have been handstitched together. There is a painted metal border on the top of the piece that overlaps the painted and weathered wire “circus” curtain that ties back onto the sides of the frame. There is one lone clown gazing at his pet-a painted clay bird on a real wood perch within the rusty wire birdcage that dangles off center within the frame. On the bottom base of the frame are four circus people portraits, each surrounded by their own individual wire frames. Wrapped around the frame bottom edge is painted tent canvas. Overall size of this piece is approx. 26″ h x 18″ w x 2″ deep.
