She is constructed from clay and wire with a skirt of custom printed tissue paper, tulle and ribbon. She swings on a wire trapeze with a seat that is constructed from old sheet music. The birds that perch on the wire branches are made from clay and the circus flags are cloth. The sign on the lower right hand side says “Balance” because we’re always trying to find that in our lives. The overall size is 14″ h x 9″ w x 5″ d.

The barbells are made from clay and metal. His frame is approximately 2″ deep and the light shining down on him is a replaceable 12V bulb. It is powered by a 9V battery that is housed on top of the frame behind the sign. The sign is made from painted metal with the title printed on fabric.The background of the piece is finished with wax encaustic.

The light turns off and on with a switch that is also housed behind the sign.The sign is made from painted metal with the title printed on fabric.
