You know when you hear someone described as “being a wreck”? I wondered what that would look like and built this piece inspired by that saying. I wanted her to look like a masthead off an old ship, cracked and aged. She gets her name after the famous Cyclone coaster at Coney Island. This piece is built on the underside of an old formica tabletop. It is constructed of clay, wire, painted metal, pastel crayons, and wax encaustic. It measures approx. 24″w x 38″ h
